Welcome to the online ministry of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church! Our Mission is to proclaim the gospel of God's redeeming grace.

This simple mission statement means so much! For one thing, we know from scripture that the gospel is more than appeals to individuals to "get right with God." The gospel includes God calling people together, to learn how to follow Jesus Christ in loving God and loving people with a whole heart.

Thankfully, in this process we follow a long heritage, through those who lived according to God's plan. These include people such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Peter, James, John, Paul, and also disciples such as John Wesley, who taught among other things that Christians are to be "good stewards" with everything in their lives.
